(Pre-Owned) Arai Ram 4 Oriental

The Great Wave off Kanagawa also known as The Great Wave by the Japanese legendary artist Hokusai.

It was published sometime between 1829 and 1833 in the late Edo period as the first print in Hokusai's series Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji. It is Hokusai's most famous work and one of the most recognizable works of Japanese art in the world.

Both sides of this ARAI KOl oriental depict a huge red Chrysanthemum flower. As ARAI helmet is a Japanese manufacturer, the Chrysanthemum flower in Japan is a symbol of the Emperor and the Imperial family.

At the back of the helmet is a red KOl fish jumping
upstream. In fengshui, koi fish represent Good fortune, Success, Prosperity and Longevity, demonstrated by its ability to swim against currents and even travel upstream.
